“Diamond Strokes with Glazing Character.”

Shiva Hadimani trained in art in Dharwad and has painted in Karnataka for more than twenty-five years. He expresses his feelings through brush and colour, and the bold, sweeping stroke is the signature of his style: dynamic forms set against bright, light backgrounds.
His paintings keep a clear focus on India’s spiritual heritage — above all Lord Krishna and his leela, moments he calls evergreen, and Lord Shiva — while also exploring contemporary thought through the eyes of an artist.
His simple, effective style has a name of its own: “Diamond Strokes with Glazing Character”. His paintings are in collections abroad and across India, and he has shown his work at more than thirty exhibitions and art fairs since 2000.
